The COAA-Pennsylvania Chapter has been very pleased to be a part of the COAA National for the past three years and in sharing their goals toward education, information exchange, and developing relationships within the design and construction industry in the Pennsylvania region.
The COAA-Pennsylvania Chapter held its third Fall Chapter Workshop on September 13, 2012 in Pittsburgh, PA at the University of Pittsburgh. Sessions included: “The Owner’s Dilemma: Rethinking the American Design and Construction Industry”; “Master Planning in an Urban and Historical Environment”; and “When Good Projects Go Bad”. Attendees then toured one construction project, the Benedum Hall project, and one completed project, the Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation, both located on the University of Pittsburgh campus.
Members interested in participating in the COAA-Pennsylvania Chapter should contact John Bechtel (email@example.com).
